Cookie Policy
Effective 16 August 2026 · Last updated 16 August 2026
1. What this covers#
This Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on praxida.in and within the Praxida application. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which work comparably. Where this Policy says "cookies", it includes those technologies.
2. Our position in short#
We use only the cookies necessary to make Praxida work. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, social media pixels, or third-party profiling. We do not sell or share information collected through cookies.
Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, we do not ask for consent to them — they cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in. We tell you about them here instead.
If that changes, this Policy changes with it, and we will ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary.
3. Cookies we set#
3.1 Authentication and session#
Set when you sign in. Without these, the application cannot keep you signed in between page loads.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-fwmmdyebvzncpezdwnxm-auth-token | Holds your encrypted session so the server knows who you are on each request | Until sign-out or session expiry |
sb-fwmmdyebvzncpezdwnxm-auth-token.0, .1 | The same session, split across multiple cookies when the value exceeds the browser's per-cookie size limit | As above |
sb-fwmmdyebvzncpezdwnxm-auth-token-code-verifier | Temporary value used during sign-in to complete the secure authentication exchange | Deleted once sign-in completes |
These are set by our authentication provider, Supabase, as a first-party cookie on our domain. They are marked HttpOnly where applicable, Secure, and SameSite=Lax.
3.2 Preferences#
| Cookie / storage key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
dt-theme (local storage) | Remembers whether you've chosen light or dark mode | Until cleared — no automatic expiry |
sidebar:collapsed (local storage) | Remembers whether the sidebar navigation is collapsed | Until cleared — no automatic expiry |
4. Cookies we do not use#
To be explicit, we do not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
- Social media pixels or share-button trackers
- Third-party profiling, data-broker, or audience-matching services
- Fingerprinting techniques intended to identify your device without cookies
5. Third parties#
Our infrastructure providers — listed in section 8 of our Privacy Policy — may set cookies strictly necessary for delivering the Service, such as load balancing or fraud prevention on their own infrastructure. They do not use these to build a profile of you or to serve advertising.
Praxida may link to third-party websites, including government portals. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies, over which we have no control.
6. Managing cookies in your browser#
You can view, block, and delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions differ by browser and are available in each browser's help documentation.
Please note: blocking the cookies in section 3.1 will prevent you from signing in to Praxida. There is no way to maintain an authenticated session without them.
7. Changes#
We will update this Policy if our use of cookies changes. Where we introduce any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this Policy and obtain your consent before setting it.
