Multiple GSTINs under one PAN
A client with registrations in four states is one client with four registrations, not four client records that have to be kept in sync by hand.
Financial years and statutory periods
Work is organised by financial year, period type and period key — not by an arbitrary due date on a calendar. FY 2026-27 Q1 means the same thing everywhere in the system.
Article assistants have their own view
Assign work to article assistants without giving them the fee ledger or the whole client book. Permissions go down to individual capabilities, enforced in the database.
TDS under section 194J on receipts
When a client deducts TDS on your professional fees, the receipt records it — so the outstanding ledger reflects what you will actually be paid.
SAC 9982 on invoices
Invoices carry the GST fields a CA firm actually issues, with per-firm financial-year numbering rather than a global counter.
UDIN and DSC registers built in
The registers a practice is expected to maintain, kept alongside the work they belong to rather than in a separate spreadsheet nobody updates.
What Praxida deliberately does not do
Worth knowing before you evaluate it, so you are not disappointed later. These are decisions, not gaps waiting to be filled.

- Staff GPS tracking, attendance or timesheets
Filing happens on the government portals, as it does today. Praxida tracks what is due, who is doing it, what has been collected and what has been filed — which is where firms actually lose time.
Questions firms ask
Is Praxida suitable for a single-partner practice?
Yes. A sole practitioner with one or two assistants gets the same compliance calendar and client portal as a larger firm. There is no minimum team size and no setup fee.
We already use spreadsheets and they work. Why change?
Spreadsheets are fine until a filing is missed because the person who maintained the sheet was on leave, or a client says they sent a document and nobody can find it. Praxida generates the statutory work automatically, keeps documents against the client and period they belong to, and shows the whole firm the same status at the same time.
Can we move our existing client list in?
Yes — clients can be imported in bulk rather than entered one at a time.
Does our client data leave India?
The database and document storage run in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region, so client data is stored in India. Some infrastructure providers are incorporated outside India; the sub-processors and where each sits are listed openly in our Privacy Policy.
